1. About Lakepharm Limited

Lakepharm Limited is a licensed retail and bulk-distribution pharmacy established on 11 February 1987, located at Lakepharm Limited Building, Temple Road, Kisumu CBD, Kenya. We dispense human and veterinary medicines and supply healthcare products in accordance with Kenyan pharmacy regulations.

2. Use of the Website & Services

• You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when submitting forms, registering an account, placing orders or booking appointments.
• You agree to use the website lawfully and not to misuse, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems.
• Accounts are personal to you; you are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential.
• We may suspend or restrict access to the website or any service where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

3. Appointment Booking & Google Meet Calls

• Video consultations can be booked through our Communications Desk for selected topics, during our working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM and Saturday 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM (East Africa Time). We are closed on Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
• Meetings are held on Google Meet. A joining link and calendar invitation are generated automatically, and reminder emails are sent before your call.
• Scheduled calls are brief by design (maximum duration displayed at booking). For matters that need more time, our team will arrange an appropriate follow-up.
• We may need to reschedule or cancel a booking due to operational reasons; where this happens you will be notified by email with an option to rebook.
• Booking a call does not by itself create a pharmacist–patient or supplier relationship; any professional engagement is subject to our normal dispensing and business procedures.

4. Medical & Healthcare Disclaimer

Lakepharm Limited is a pharmacy, not a medical practice, hospital or emergency service. Information provided on this website, through our AI assistant, or during consultations is offered as general pharmaceutical guidance and does not constitute medical diagnosis or treatment advice.

• Always consult a qualified medical practitioner for diagnosis and treatment decisions.
• Prescription-only medicines are dispensed strictly against a valid prescription from a registered practitioner, verified by our licensed pharmacists.
• Any AI-generated interpretation of documents (such as prescriptions) is an aid only and is always subject to verification by our pharmacists.
• In a medical emergency, contact your nearest hospital or emergency services immediately — do not rely on this website.

5. Orders, Prescriptions & Payments

• All orders are subject to product availability and verification by our pharmacy team.
• Prices are quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and may change without notice until an order is confirmed.
• We accept cash, M-PESA and major debit/credit cards in store; corporate accounts are available through our bulk distribution desk.
• We may decline or cancel an order where a prescription cannot be verified or where the law requires us to do so.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos and design — is the property of Lakepharm Limited or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or exploit any part of the website for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, Lakepharm Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or its services, including scheduling interruptions, technical failures of third-party services (such as Google Meet or email delivery), or reliance on general information published on the site.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability arising from our professional obligations as a licensed pharmacy.

8. Privacy

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information, including data processed through Google Calendar and Google Meet for appointment scheduling.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with its effective date, and your continued use of the website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
